What's happening at DTAC?

Featured Replies

Has anyone any idea what is happening at DTAC. I have a monthly post-paid account. For about 5 months DTAC have stopped sending me bills. They now send me an SMS in Thai (which I can't read).

I used to pay monthly through my bank internet service with Kasikorn. Now that tells me that DTAC has been removed and without a bill I have no way of paying what I think it should be at a 7/11 or similar.

So I am forced to a DTAC shop (which is inconvenient as most attendants don't speak English).

DTAC customer services are useless.

Are they going out of business, re-structuring (badly) or what?

Anyone know anything?

Maybe a problem with Kasikorn? Your account? Trouble identifying the payee?

You can change the SMS language to English.

You can run the mobile app to see account balance/details.  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=th.co.crie.tron2.android

You can use the web interface for same.  https://my.dtac.co.th/esv/en/login?ref=dashboard

Or just dial *121*9#

It is normal to receive an SMS of bill on post paid account - as long as payment is set up with bank it will be paid on schedule by the bank (assuming funds available).  Working fine with Bangkok Bank.

Nothing wrong with DTAC , and they have excellent customer service if you use the phone and talk to them directly  , staff inside malls etc are not that good in English .

I suspect something happened to your payment , you always need to check that the bill was paid , month after month .

Been on a postpaid subscription with them since 2010 .

Regarding SMS messages only in Thai , can easily be changed back to English , if you just call them....... 1678
