Fast Track success...

Just a follow up, in case anyone else is in the same situation any time soon.

We needed a visit visa for my wife, to the U.K at short notice. So she filled out the online application and booked a random appointment for the week after.

She flew up to Bangkok the next day and paid for a walk in appointment, instead of waiting for the scheduled one.

Normally this service is 1560 baht, however, she was told there were no more at that price that day. So she ended up paying 3400 baht for the VIP lounge access and the services that come with it.

In addition to that, she paid 9752 for the fast track service, where the application goes to the top of the pile at each stage.

She was in VFS building for no more than 20 mins and only 10 mins in the actual VIP lounge getting her docs sorted, which the staff apparently took care of everything.

Text msg service is included in the lounge fee, as well as courier service for return of documents. Her application was submitted on 6th June, processed and ready for collection on 8th June. She opted for EMS delivery though and had her passport back yesterday on the 11th June.

So, if you need a visa last minute, like we did, it's very easy to accomplish. It cost a lot more but then everything costs more if you want it quick sharp..
