How early can I do my retirement extension?

Featured Replies

I have to do my 90 day report next week and my visa extension is 2 weeks later, can I do the extension 2 weeks early and do both on the same day.

Not sure ,but you can do your 90 day up to 7 days late and your retirement 7 days early ,so sorted

Retirement extensions can be done 30-45 days early (depending on location).

You could do your extension application and report today if you wanted to.

Reports can be done up to 15 days early and extension 30 days early.

Does the visa extension reset the clock for the 90 day report in that case?

Not unless it is done at one of the few offices that issue a new report slip when the extension application is done.

A extension is not considered doing a 90 day report unless it the first extension application.

Thanks for that.

So conceivably  after an extension renewal a person could need to return to immigration within a few days for the 90 day report?

I made that mistake in my early days here. I thought that doing my extension automatically covered my 90 day  report. That mistake cost me 2000 baht.
