Happened at 200 Kph. Tire one year old. And NO - it is not worn out. It is a slick.

That's pretty much why you dont want to be using slicks on the road... if you're ever at Buri Ram (or any other) circuit, go and speak to one of the tyre guys there. They'll explain about heat cycles and cold shear... no point in slicks on the road either to be honest - irrespective of how quick you think you are, you're not good enough to get them up to temperature on the road and keep them there. They're also too stiff for your street suspension - be like riding a bone shaker on some of these roads...!!

You'll be much better off with a decent sport/touring tyre - they come up to temp much faster and will stay there - work well in wet or dry and will give you lots more grip and feedback than cold slicks... Full on sport street tyres are fine too, but you wont notice any benefit over sport/touring tyres unless you're doing lots of track days...and of course you'll chew them up in a few hundred miles if you're fairly quick on the road...????

For those who might not know, the bottle on the side of the frame is not NO2 but compressed air to feed the pneumatic gear  shifter.

Have a hard time seeing the attraction for flat black paint these days.

Ya it used to stand out as different and unique from standard paint jobs but like many thing well over used ,    but that said I certainly wouldn't turn one down.

How many pictures to guess who it is?

One of the greatest names in motorcycle history takes his mother for a spin on a V twin built by his father:

The same man, chatting to a customer riding one of his motorcycles shortly after an accident on his own bike - hence the walking sticks:

The customer's bike transported to an inquiry into his death on it:

Should be obvious who he is now, sitting on one of the first bikes he produced, and, given the bike, who the customer was too:
