I love the Linto massive 10" front drum, for extra stopping power!

It's a wonder anyone survived these things.

Looks like a air filter.

The engineering looks good, shame about the design!

Aesthetics we can disagree, but the new bikes have better ergonomic design. The bikes guys in your generation built and rode are brilliant. But sitting on top of a rectangle, with a wheel at either end and an engine roughly in the middle, was not the pinnacle of ergonomic design.

I enjoy riding older bikes around for the experience, but not for everyday riding.

Three things have to be present for me to even consider a bike being "good":- handling, braking & performance if you bring these three things together and also have a beautiful looking bike you have nailed it, ten minutes riding the Indian would give me a fail on at least one of these points - ????

1. Note it is at near maximum lean on the front tyre. :cheesy:
2. It is not American.

I'm sure no Briton wants to take responsibility for it, where do you say it comes from? It's parked in front of a Florida pier.

It escaped from Guantanamo and swam across.  You can still see the barnacles on the front forks.  But seriously, with a front tyre like that, how do you know if you're coming or going?

Japan.

Modified by an American with ridiculously bad taste.

Someone who poses going up and down Main Street in a straight line ONLY.

Slowly.

Whilst checking his reflection out in the shop windows.

And requiring a 5-7 point turn to turn around at the other end.

I mean, lets be honest here, what is the f###ing point?

Yep, a Suzuki Boulevard M109R.

Image result for m109r motorcycle

It is very much like low-riders. Or the hot hatches with 140dB sound systems out the back. It's a street culture. Not about ride, only about show. Very American, even if working on foreign cars.

Don't get me wrong, I can see the attraction, and no doubt it would draw quite a crowd when pulled up at the local PTT station, it's just not my cup of tea.  Who am I to talk though.  My main ride is no shrinking violet, has been described as "agricultural" by many, and certainly wouldn't win any beauty contests.  (Not that I care, as it's extremely comfortable, handles surprisingly well, has a 300+ km range, and (a minor point, honest) goes like frozen sh*t off a red hot shovel).

Here it is.  I don't know why some Harley owners call it agricultural though.  Oh, and there's some sort of motorcycle parked behind it.

I rode it for a couple of hours shortly after its introduction. Absolutely not my type of bike or riding - I owned a Triumph Tiger at the time - but I loved that big engine!
