This one sold for £86,200 back in 2010, which was quite a bargain, as restored ones are valued at around $3.5M Spot on B P .. It turned up when I was scrolling thru' Czech bikes .. Popular Post ballpoint
A true rarity. A, or rather, The, 1949 Indian Vincent prototype, which is the only one ever produced in what was planned to be a joint venture between the two great manufacturers. However, Indian went out of business before the merger could be finalised, and Vincent carried on alone. The bike was taken to Australia by Phil Irving, and recently surfaced when it was put up for auction (where it failed to reach its reserve price of $300,000). Popular Post ballpoint
Another mongrel (in the best possible sense) with a lot of Vincent in it. A 1952 Vincent Trackmaster. If them Amal T.T carbs don't elicit a phwoar! then check your pulse, because you're either dead or on the wrong thread. Probably both. Popular Post ballpoint
One more gorgeous Vincent, a 1948 Rapide. Due to its paint job this particular one is known as the Blue Bike, and set the world class 'C' speed record at Bonneville in 1953, with an average of 147.58 mph. A record it held for 20 years.

I remember getting some exhaust clamps same as pictured above for my Bonnie and thinking I was riding high in the custom world ????
