Coach Crashes into Lorry, Injuring 11 Passengers
Picture from responders. CCTV below. A long-distance coach crashed into a lorry on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima province, leaving multiple passengers injured. The crash, which occurred on the afternoon of 10 March, was the second involving the same group of passengers that day. At approximately 15:30, police and emergency services responded to the scene in Sikhiu district, where a Bangkok-Yasothon coach had collided with the rear of a lorry carrying bricks. The front of the coach was severely damaged, trapping the driver inside with serious injuries. Eleven passengers, five men and six women, were rescued and treated at the roadside for cuts and bruises before being taken to hospital. Rescue teams used hydraulic cutters to free the driver, a man aged between 35 and 40, who suffered severe facial injuries and broken limbs. He was rushed to Sikhiu Hospital for urgent treatment. The lorry, registered in Roi Et province, was driven by 39-year-old Mr. Sakchai Hobangkapka. He told police he had been driving at normal speed when the coach suddenly slammed into the back of his vehicle. CCTV footage from a nearby shop confirmed that the coach had been travelling at speed before impact. Shockingly, passengers revealed that they had already been involved in a previous crash earlier that morning in Saraburi province. The original coach driver had reportedly fallen asleep at the wheel, causing a minor crash. The passengers were transferred to a replacement vehicle with a new driver, only for it to be involved in this second, more serious collision. The cause of the crash remains under police investigation. Man Kills Woman Over Unpaid Debt and Dumps Body in Ayutthaya

A 23-year-old Myanmar man has confessed to killing a woman over an unpaid debt of 5,000 baht before disposing of her body in a roadside thicket in Wang Noi, Ayutthaya province. Police were alerted late on 9 March after a local resident discovered an abandoned blue-and-white motorcycle submerged in an irrigation canal in Lam Ta Sao subdistrict. The bike was registered to a Myanmar factory worker, 30-year-old Ms. Zaza, who had been reported missing. Investigators learned she had last been seen with her close acquaintance, Mr. Pai Aung Chit. Under questioning, Mr. Pai Aung Chit admitted to stabbing Ms. Zaza to death and discarding her body in a nearby overgrown area. He later led police and forensic officers to the site, where her body was found with five stab wounds. The suspect claimed they had been in a relationship for about a month, during which Ms. Zaza had borrowed 5,000 baht from him. On the night of the murder, she arranged to meet him, leading him to believe she would return the money. However, an argument ensued, during which she allegedly took his phone, deleted its contents, and smashed it. According to his statement, she then grabbed a knife he had been carrying, and in the ensuing struggle, he managed to wrest it from her. He claimed she bit his hand, prompting him to stab her multiple times before dragging her body into the undergrowth, holding her underwater, and later dumping her motorcycle in the canal. He then returned to work as if nothing had happened. Despite the confession, Ayutthaya police chief Pol. Col. Somjet Maenbut expressed doubts about the suspect’s account. Investigators noted inconsistencies, particularly as Ms. Zaza was known to be a diligent worker who had recently purchased three new mobile phones for colleagues to pay off in instalments. She was also reported to have been carrying 2,000 baht in cash at the time of her disappearance. The investigation remains ongoing as police examine further evidence to establish the full circumstances of the crime. -- 2025-03-11 -

1) i am a naturalized citizen. So I made an appointment to get a certified copy of my passport at the CNX consulate. 2) I doubt SSA can access State Department records. I recall back in 2018 when the US Consulate in CNX stated they could not even verify American's SSA payments for the Income Affidavit. What I know about the Federal Government based upon prior work experience is the agencies do not share information with each other. This was one fo the failures of 9-11. I doubt much has changed in DC.
