  • Wherever large vehicles are manouevering parents should keep their children close. A terrible tragedy. I hope the coach driver doesn't get unjustly scapegoated.

  • Sad story, but this blame falls all on the parents for not having control of the boy.

Tragedies like this highlight the need for long heavy vehicles to be fitted with reversing cam's or in the very least a reversing warning buzzer to at least let anyone at the rear of the ve-hick know

if they insist on useiing these disgusting vehicles in urban areas, then have parking security personal.at areas where they gather and create chaos...thailands lack of professionalism is toblame here...children wander sometimes..take  a trip to pattaya north and area and watch these bus drivers dominate and bullie their way around the city, parking in lies and blocking the views of motorists at key intersections, belching black smoke and dust..IMO the poorly maintained and unprofessional driven buses have destroyed this city, the smaller buses driven by the quality drivers are ok,but they are few...this is a sad sad story ....

When large vehicles are reversing the drivers can only see from side to side and a certain distance behind them. Anything small and directly behind them is a blind spot.

This is why it is appropriate to have someone guide them back, that obviously did not happen in this case.

I have trued find out where this happened. Which Temple? The given link not useful. So : does anybody know where this happened?

Probably no reversing horn....don't recall ever hearing one on a bus in Thailand....it may have saved this kid.

Yet my Vios has one .

This tragic incident happened at a Temple in Rong Po district of Banglamung

I  am led to believe it happened at the Temple on the LH side of Sukumvit at the main set of lights in Rong Po.

Could be wrong though
