Deadly Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Rayong Central Prison Claims Two Lives
A multi-vehicle collision took place on November 14 on Highway 3191 near Rayong Central Prison in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong. The crash involved a black car, which was torn in half upon impact, and two pickup trucks. The incident resulted in casualties, and two fatalities. Emergency responders were alerted at approximately 13:35 and promptly arrived at the scene. There, they found a woman on the road, who had been ejected from the black car, who died at the scene despite immediate CPR efforts. A second female passenger, critically injured, was rushed to Pluak Daeng Hospital but succumbed to her injuries later. The deceased have since been identified as Ms. Kanyarath, 28, and Ms. Sangchan, 67, both of whom were believed to be relatives on their way to visit family. Among the injured were three men, in the pickups, two of whom suffered minor injuries. A third man sustained a severe leg injury and was also transported to Pluak Daeng Hospital for treatment, while the other two declined hospital care. Witness accounts suggest the black car was leaving the prison area just before the crash, while one pickup, a white enclosed truck, was heading from Pluak Daeng, and the second pickup, a gray truck with a steel racking, was approaching from Nikom Pattana. From the extent of the damage to the car, it is assumed that speed was a factor in the collision. Both pickups suffered some damage, but nothing compared to the car. Local authorities have taken both surviving pickup drivers in for questioning at the Pluak Daeng Police Station. Surveillance footage from nearby cameras will also be reviewed to establish the exact sequence of events. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for autopsy, and the police are contacting relatives of the victims. Further investigations are ongoing, and charges may follow based on the findings. UNESCO names Suvarnabhumi one of the world's six most beautiful airports
There's so much negativity from some commentators, too many sad news stories and too much Thai or Farang bashing (even though sometimes justified it must be said). So it's great to see a good news story for the image Thailand. Hope it happens more often. -

Empty my pool
There are several pool maintenance companies that you can use if you want to travel. If it’s a matter of cost then just empty it, as you stated, and fill it up when you plan to sell. Emptying the pool should cause no issues as it is cement and tile. It may need rerouted before you fill it up again and not sure about the pump. It’ll just look ugly, but if it’s a burden just do it.
