Major water shutoffs to hit Wichit

PHUKET: Huge tracts of Wichit will be affected by water shutoffs tomorrow (July 25) as the Phuket Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) carries out repairs to a water mains on Thep Anusorn Rd.

 

The water supply shutoff will begin at 9am and will remain shut off until the repairs are complete, said a PWA notice issued yesterday (Jul 23).

 

Areas to be affected by the mains water supply outage include:

 

Wichit Songkram Rd (from the entrance to the PWA office to Central Phuket shopping mall)

Phanason Village (next to Makro)

Wirat Hongyok Rd (entire length)

Chonnakarn Klangmuang village
