Im posting on behalf of a friend currently in Pattaya.

 

He is a type 2 diabetic so doesnt use a needle or require insulin as he takes daily medication.

 

He has left his blood prick test machine at home can he buy one from  a pharmacy in pattaya and if so which one ?

he lost his medication “ Metmorfin” , can he see a doctor in Pattaya who can prescribe it.?

 

There must be a few diabetics type 2 on here ,how do u manage in pattaya .?

is there any clinics for diabetes?

He does not need a prescription for Metformin. Available in most pharmacies and very cheap. He can probably get a testkit at FASCINO, too. Maybe Boots, too. 

Fascino on North Pattaya Rd. above City Hall or smaller one opposite up a bit from Bouakao on Pattaya Klang. Preferably always buy from aircon pharmacies such as these 2. Bonne nuit. MS>

Acu-Check test kits and strips are available at Fascino Pharmacy on south Pattaya Road (Pattaya Tai) just east of the large school on the second road Sai Song) intersection, south side. Metformin in 500 and 850 mg doses are available and cheap.
