Hi, I live in Pattaya and I am searching carbide drill bit or even carbide tipped drill bit (like Alpen multi-cut or Bosch multi material). The problem is I nee an 11mm drill size.

 

Does anyone know where I can buy these type of drill bits. I can go to Bangkok to get then. I need to make holes in a 6 mm hardened steel plate.

 

It is for personal you, I am not incorporated.

your local hardware shop should have masony drill bits .

these will do the job when there sharpend properly. 

make sure you use a pilot hole first .

 I got some fairly good HSS drill bits from Thai Watsadu, failing that Global House on Highway 36 or Megahome at Bowin, both should have them as they supply all the factories in their areas.

Thanks for your help, I will visit Global in Rayong and Megahome too.

 

The idea of sharpening a tungsten masonry has came in mind. I will check Youtube.
