So why didn't Trump say and do something before he tore the US side of the agreement up? Common sense tells me that would have been a better plan.

 

Not sure that there are good answers for questions starting with "so why didn't Trump...". Bringing up common sense, as it is commonly understood, doesn't seem to apply much, either.

That is precisely the problem with Trump.

 

He doesn't listen or ask for advice but goes ahead and Tweets something incredibly stupid and a couple of days later he Tweets the opposite.

 

How can anybody in the US administration cope with that? How can they formulate a response and a policy knowing that in a couple of days the orange idiot will do the exact opposite.

 

He has NO common sense at all.
