Double murder at "Buddha Mountain" - top cop says expect good news in one or two days

Police in Chonburi investigating the double execution style murder in the car park at Buddha Mountain in Sattahip have pointed to two reasons for the hit.

 

Deputy provincial chief Pol Maj Gen Chettha Komonwatthana spoke to reporters after a meeting at Na Jomtien police station.

 

He said that the case was either a love triangle of resulting from disagreements at the work place of the female victim.

 

He said that it is known that the assailant got out of a CRV before gunning down the woman first then the man.

 

The two victims - on holiday in Pattaya - were both hit several times and died at the scene, a popular tourist attraction.

 

Maj Gen Chettha said that there was no CCTV at the car park but cameras elsewhere showed that the CRV had gone to Sukhumvit Road and was driven towards Pattaya.

 

From there whether it went straight to Sri Racha or turned right to the motorway is being investigated, reported Thai Rath.

 

He said that the police were working on the case and that there should be good news in one or two days.

Time to back off on Thai Police jokes. There are thousands of good Thai Police who know how to investigate a crime and solve it. More crimes are solved in the land of smiles than you might believe. They are underpaid and overworked.

Two houses in Patong,  linked to a suspect in the double murder at Sattahip, Chonburi, remain under surveillance but there hasn’t been any activity according to police.

The police force in Phuket are maybe even more corrupt than in Chonburi . I hope they will catch him and that justice will happen this time , because of all the media attention . Normally influential people are not having their names printed in the media , but not this time.

With the 'Federal' cops now running the investigation, including 'BIG JOKE'......

Things may not go the normal 'Thai Way'..... Meaning that the 'Paid-off' local cops may not be able to cover his ass..... Although they probably won't return any of what he has paid them.......LOL...........
