Police last night (July 31) raided an entertainment business on Bangla Road which allegedly belongs to one of the Chonburi double murder suspects. The business was found to be illegal.

Chonburi police, investigating the brazen double execution-style murder in the car park at Buddha Mountain in Sattahip, say initial investigations were able to uncover a number of possible motives and implicate an initial set of suspects.

Officers raided the entertainment business in Soi Pum Pui  on Bangla Road in Patong after a man known as ‘Sia Auan’ or 39 year old Panya Yingdang, was accused of direct involvement in the murder of 20 year old woman Paweena Namuangrak and 21 year old Anatachai Jaritram in Chonburi on July 29.

I wonder how many are really "legal"?

Most if not all on main street, especially if just referring to 'licenced'. Police and licence office regularly check and its not exactly hard or expensive to get relevant licences, definitely cheaper than paying cops extra.

More likely they picked a common violation (alcohol promotion, discounts, happy hours, bar showcases ect are all actually illegal but every single bar has them) and used that to declare operating illegally.

The night club was closed because raid happened early.

Funny how no mention of his gogo

Lashay, is this guy well known in the Patong nightlife circles? Are his places on Bangla, or over at paradise complex?  Guess he has enough money and clout to not get his places mentioned huh?

He personally was bearly known to punters at all, not even that well known to bar/club owners as he did not run in those circles but most knew of him and wanted as little as possible to do with him.

Many had been bitching about him and shit he was pulling for a while, things like bin stuffing, having his staff beat up customers so forth.

Plus he was relatively new to bar industry, under 3 years maybe? Won't speculate what he was doing before and where he got money to start so big, though there have been rumors for a while. Will let media do that digging if they can be assed

He had rented nearly a whole soi on Bangla and had the Bar in front and  nightclub and gogos behind it. Names of places are all over the media, (except the gogos and for life of me cannot remember their names..not a gogo fan) Pum Pui Bar at the front, The Night Club (mainly thai customers) at the back and everything in between
