This debate on Thai Visa shows just how divided America is on Trump.  I will leave you all with the following points:

 

A.   If Clinton had been elected- and she waas found to have colluded with a foreign power- most of us would have been outraged in the same meaner we will be if Trump has indeed colluded.

 

B.   Most Americans want the investigation to continue- because we want to know whether Donald Trump and/or his minions did indeed collude with Russia to get elected.  I will let the lawyers then determine if collusion is a crime or not.  I will also leave it up to Congress to determine if collusion is an impeachable offense.

 

C.  If Trump is cleared- I will accept it but if he is not cleared- I expect Trump's supporters to also accept that and support the removal of Trump as President.

 

D.  The majority of the media are good and honest people who follow leads and report the news fairly.  There is very little 'fake news'- meaning a news story that is fabricated from scratch and is false.  Unfortunately, Donald Trump deems things that he doesn't like as fake news and so do his supporters.  Without the media acting as a watchdog- there would be much that is said by politicians of all stripes that is not true.

 

This is not about whether I or anyone else likes Donald Trump or his policies.  What this is really about is whether Donald Trump was elected President with the help of Russia and whether he has been compromised either by a Russian plant within his inner circle or Trump himself.

 

The investigation must continue to its conclusion as the stakes are just to high. It's not about Trump. It's about the national security of the US. Let the truth come out!!

If the Mueller investigation clears Donald Trump of  collusion and/or other  potential crimes- the majority of us that oppose Trump's policies will let it go.  That does not mean all of a sudden I and others will start to 'like' Trump and his polices but it means at least we can accept his election as being legit.

 

The problem lies in the fact that I seriously doubt- Trump's supporters will accept the results of the investigation should Mueller and his team uncover evidence of collusion or other things  that show a possible rigged election.  

 

Remember this- Mueller has no skin in the game one way or the other. His background is impeccable. He has been a lifelong Republican and held high offices in Government.  His job is to determine if there was any collusion involving Russia and the Trump Team or Trump himself.  Trump keeps denigrating Mueller; talking about 'fake news'; trying to shift the agenda to other  things and trying to convince his supporters of the same. If you have nothing to hide- why all the rancor; if there's nothing there- nothing will be found/

 

I don't know if Trump colluded with the Russians and neither do you.  Some of us want to know the truth- not because we hate Donald Trump- but because we want to know if a foreign enemy state has influenced our Presidential election and if there is any quid pro quo and any one else who truly believes in America's security should feel the same.
