NFL GamePass is available to subscribers who live outside the U.S., GameDay (no live games shown, only re-plays) is meant for subscribers who live in the U.S.

Most here have reported success with GamePass, assuming you have a decent internet connection and the appropriate display/device etc. I watched a part of one game cast from a mobile (Android) onto a 55" HD TV via Chromecast (local WiFi, via broadband AIS Fiber 100/50), and it looked like full HD (1920x1080) does with my TrueVisions cable.

There actually are two different versions of the NFL GamePass subscription, depending on whether you're accessing their website/app from a U.S. IP or an international/Thai IP.

If you go to the NFL website to subscribe using a U.S. IP, you'll see the $99 Game Pass season package only that provides video on demand access to all games, but no live broadcast access. And even the VOD access is blacked out whenever any of the U.S. broadcast networks are showing any game live, so the two are not overlapping each other.

In the past, I've always subscribed to the U.S. service, because it had a much better price, and I rarely was interested in staying up between midnight and 7-8 am local time here to watch the Sunday early and late games U.S. time.  But as I mentioned to sign up for that and use it, you have to be going thru a U.S. IP address or a DNS redirect service.

OR, if you want to subscribe and access thru a local Thai IP address, then you get the international flavor of the GamePass package, which has three different options with prices up to $199 for the entire season. The international subscriptions all offer the live games, in addition to VOD, because international viewers aren't taking any viewers away from the U.S. over the air broadcast networks like Fox, CBS, NBC, etc.

So, just to reinforce this, if you're going to the NFL website to subscribe, you'll ONLY be offered the subscription package flavors that correspond to your internet address location, either U.S. or international.  If you're using a U.S. IP address, you won't see any of the international plans. If you're using a Thai IP address, you won't see the better priced $99 U.S. VOD version.

BTW, the U.S. VOD version is also referred to by the same name, GamePass, as the international version.

I had the U.S. version of GamePass for quite a few years back when the season subscription prices were more reasonable, and they often offered renewal discounts/promotions to existing subscribers. But I've seen none of that in recent years as the U.S. version pricing climbed to hit $99 and the international version hit almost $200 for the season.

So I've switched to a YouTube TV subscription (online cable replacement service with unlimited cloud DVR--not to be confused with the regular YouTube videos site, but both run by Google) that costs me $35 a month (now $40 a month for new subscribers) and that I keep year-round, providing me a full U.S. cable TV package of channels online, including my hometown NFL teams with their games broadcast each week as regional broadcasts on my town's local network affiliates (Fox, CBS, NBC, etc.)

There are similar services available from other providers with names like DirecTV Now, Fubo TV and Playstation Vue, each offering different packages of cable TV channels at different monthly prices -- all delivered online and all requiring a U.S. IP address and probably some U.S.-based payment source. Also, if one of your primary interests is NFL football, you need to make sure the service you subscribe to in fact has all the network affiliates available for your particular hometown. The channel availability can vary from service to service, market to market.

I like the YouTube TV service the best because its unlimited cloud DVR functionality allows me to timeshift my viewing to watch football or anything else at a convenient time for me, and not in the middle of the night. And for my hometown, YTTV provides the full slate of network affiliate channels (Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC) as well as ESPN, the regional Fox Sports Networks and all kinds of other cable tv content.

LSM, I believe it's pretty much the same address on the NFL website. But what should happen is, the NFL website recognizes if you're coming from a U.S. location and feeds you their U.S./VOD GamePass page, or if it thinks you're coming from a non-U.S. location, it automatically feeds you the international version.

Here's what I get when I go to the NFL site from a Thai IP:

https://gamepass.nfl.com/packages

If someone is moving between the two different areas of content, other than having the correct internet IP, you may also have to clear your cache, cookies, etc in order to end up with the correct page you want once you've made the correct internet IP connection.

I have signed on to USTVNow two days ago. $14 per month for the first 3 months, $29 after that. NBC is in the package, a pleasant surprise. I can watch it on 55" TV or android phone when I am outside, so far so good.

My old  school University of Miami has lost the first game....

I always had a lot of buffering with ustvnow.

Here's a site that has good HD streams of various sports.   https://www.strikeout.nu/   Here's another, though sometimes this stream buffers   https://www.vipleague.lc/

Sorry, I just assumed that you were here in Thailand, where this URL

https://gamepass.nfl.com/packages?redirected=true

leads to the three options ($200, $130 and $170) international options.

Many people in the U.S. have reported being able to access, sign-up and stream the international version of Game Pass using a VPN.

Sorry about the confusion on my part, the domestic replay only version ($99/year) used to be called something different, I thought it was "GameDay" - that's the name of the Sunday preview show on the NFL Network, but I see that they have bundled everything into the Game Pass moniker.

Thanks, showing last year's Superbowl now on NFL Network, looks like 720p to me, can cast from Chrome, was OK for the 5 minutes I watched. Often these re-streamers do not scale well for live events. Will check it out next Monday.

One problem I always had with USTVNow in the past, when it comes to NFL football, is their video feeds are coming from Pennsylvania and they're retransmitting the local networks stations from a particular city there.

So that means that all of the regional NFL games you get via their CBS, NBC and Fox stations are going to be for that particular region.  So if you're interested in West Coast or Southwest or other regional teams, you're pretty much going to be out luck, unless they happen to be playing the Eagles or Steelers or Panthers that week, or they're one of the national broadcasts that week.

Yeah, if you're gonna pop $29 for USTV, probably better to just go with Youtube TV, Hulu TV or Sling TV, assuming the VPN issue can be simply and successfully addressed. I think all three give you a major market option, which might yield more preferred team viewing?

I just received the weekly schedule from True via email.  It's the live games only and this year it looks like they are going to broadcast two 0000 and two 0330 Sunday games simultaneously on different channels.  In the past they delayed two of the games and broadcast them at the conclusion of the 0730 game.  There is no firm schedule fir the games that will be broadcasted on Sunday, only TBD, but I will receive an updated schedule during the week and I will post it.  True's onscreen

TV guide does not show the games.  I will open a new thread in the "sports" form, American Football - True Visions Schedule and post this, the updates and following weekly schedules to keep the Mods happy.

I re-activated a subscription to DirecTV Now just for the pre-season because I wanted access to the full slate of preseason games via the NFL Network.  Once the regular season starts, the NFL Network becomes less of an issue for access to games, since most of their Thursday night games also will be aired on some other network such as Fox or Amazon Prime. But DTVN is usually pretty good about having local OTA networks, and their base plan includes the various ESPNs and Fox regionals.

Sling TV probably has the best pricing via their Blue plan, and they have a sports add-on option for an extra $5 or $10 per month that includes the NFL Network. But their Blue plan doesn't include ESPN, while their other Orange plan does.  But from an NFL standpoint, probably the bigger issue with Sling is, they've gone away from trying to get a full slate of local networks in the cities they serve, so depending on your location, you might not get local CBS or Fox or NBC via Sling. (Sling has kind of worked from the philosophy to keep their prices lower, assuming their customers can get their local over the air networks via antennas).

YouTube TV is good because pretty much any city where they offer service they'll have all the local OTA networks offered via their streaming service. And, the core YTTV plan includes the various ESPN channels and the Fox regional sports networks, plus other regional sports networks (depending on location) like the Big 10 Network or Longhorn Network or YTV for New York, etc etc. Plus an unlimited cloud DVR all for $40 per month.

Fubo TV is another good, but lesser known (but 100% legal and legit) cable TV streaming service for football and other sports.

I tried Hulu Live after its launch, but had problems with Hulu and Playstation Vue's rules that can cause problems if your home IP address changes periodically because your ISP is giving you a dynamic as opposed to a fixed/constant IP address.

One key issue with all of these services is how they determine what your home market/city is going to be for determining what local city OTA networks you receive. DirecTV Now, like others, basically uses the IP address of your internet connection to determine your home city. YouTube TV, on the other hand, relies on browser geolocation info when you sign-up to determine your home city, which makes managing and controlling that info/home city setting much easier for the end user.

Thanks, this confirms the detail I posted (post #25).

I'm pretty sure we had two early and two late Sunday games a few years ago on TrueVisions, at least that's what my contact said, and was my recollection as well.

Quite an impressive offering, IMO. Half the games live in week 1.

My guess on the two late games: SEA at DEN and DAL at CAR.

Aaron Rogers and Packers fans can't be too happy?

I'd love to get GamePass but fear I wouldn't do anything else for five months.

After thinking about it, last year they were broadcast on SI/672 and there was only one early and one late game televised live.  Following the 0730/0830 game they then broad cast two additional games that were first air followed by replays. In the years prior, when they were directly televised by True, there were simultaneous broadcasts of two early and two late games followed by replays after the 0730/0830 game and You had to pick which game you wanted to watch live.  That said, at least there is football and on Friday and Tuesday I'll have to decide whether I watch Football or "House of Trump" on CNN!

I live in the real boonies, last house on a dirt road, and I tried "game pass" a few years ago when the internet was "copper" and very slow, it was total garbage.  A couple of years ago TOT surprised me and and installed fiber optic with good sppeds.  I signed up to watch the college bowl games on ESPN Player and it was garbage.  When I did get connected the streaming was good, but 95% of the time I was unable to connect and only got to watch three games!

You can walk into any bar with a Packer's shirt on and make it a Packer's bar!  All that you have to do is yell out "all drinks on me for the rest of the day"!

Yes, absolutely last year, maybe even the year before. I was referring to earlier years when I'm pretty sure we got two early and two late Sunday live games. So I'm happy we're back to that.

Who? Me?

My jpegs are from the mobile app.: True ID TV.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truecorp.truetv

Settings, TV, schedule, scroll channel/date.

Looks like the ATL vs. PHL game is on channels 122, 666 and 672, all HD for me - I had to update the firmware on my cable box to move up from 720p to 1080p. Live feed during commercials, but no audio.

Wayned, could you please let us know where the TV guides in English are? My PVR will give them a few days in advance. (COWBOYS VS PANTHERS AT 3:30.) However I asked someone from True for the schedule in English and she sent me something half in English and half in Thai. Will they show the Canelo GGG fight the morning of the 16 th? For an IT company CP sucks.
