I hire cars regularly mostly outside Asia.

For the past few years, I have had an insurance policy, that covers me fully whenever I hire a car, saves getting ripped off with car hire company excess.

However, they have just informed me that I cannot renew, due to the fact that I live in Thailand-out with Europe was their official line.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an insurance company?

 

Give them a UK address. I used Questor recently. Dunno if they were any good 'cos I never claimed!

I suspect that if you were to give a UK address, and then made a claim, and then they went to lodge the money into your account, only to discover that the account address was not the UK address, may be their get out of jail card??

Or at the moment you make a claim.
