Anyone have an eSIM?

I recently read that eSIMS are the future. Was rumored that the new iPhones would have them but don't. But I think iPads do. Sounds like a good idea. Is anyone currently using one? How is it?

The iPhone XS does have it but the e-SIM plan is not yet available in Thailand

AIS already supports eSIM on Apple Watch Cellular so I believe iPhone Xs and Max will also gets supported when they become available in AIS store.
