But they are still both "proper" wines.

Provided no added fruit juices, that is when they fail for me.

  • Ask a question get an answer and then bitch about getting there. Foodland, Totts crap processed cheese 12 slices of fake cheddar for B 109 buy one get one free... Better?

  • Siamburys, on the dark side. Soi Khao Talo. REALLY good prices.

  • Several baht bus trips to the Darkside for cheese would be insane. Any ideas of a place more accessible from Jomtien or Pattaya?

How much to eat this ? is it a buffet ?

Sorry, that photo was just a stock one found on Google to illustrate what good cheese looks like.

The cheese room at the Pullman Atelier has 20 cheeses or more, including many very nice ones. It is included as part of their evening and Sunday lunch buffets, which cost around 1,200B if pre-booked. Here is a photo of it:

The Millennium Hilton has a bigger selection included in their buffet which costs a bit more, but I dont like that one so much for various reasons.

Most of the big Bangkok hotels include some sort of cheese selection in their buffets, but the quality and choice and cost does vary a lot.

At one point the Auberge de Pierre on Pratumnak did a cheese and cold cuts buffet on Sunday evening for around 800B which was pretty good value (for Pattaya) and included some nice cheeses. I dont know if it still does it.

Proper cheese is made with raw / unpasteurized milk, and it cannot be found in Thailand.

Now even in USA they are doing real cheese as good as French cheese, terroir cheese.

There is a nice supply in BigCXtra on one of those special counters.

Prices between +/-1300 and +/-2500 ThB/Kg.

Also German, Italian, Spanish ham & salami.
