All living things are not equal... you value the life of a dog, rabbit or snail the same as a human being?

 

'Superior race know only how to kill'  What is that?  You don't think dogs kill things, cats kill a lot of animals, and what about all the other predators, even rabbits, rodents and many other animals kill and eat their own babies sometimes as a normal thing.

 

All the rest of your rant is just nonsense.  I never mentioned about culling dogs, pitbulls or any of the other stuff you clearly have issues with. 

 

And, to answer you question.... YES, I think people that devote most of their lives to 'care' for homeless dogs in Thailand, while doing nothing to solve the problem, are weird and not considerate people.  They have misplaced their feelings and energy... they would be better to help sick, starving, children living in poverty, or families in need of help.  Even helping cleaning up the environment or helping endangered wildlife would be more considerate and not crazy.

I still stand by everything I wrote. No shame in the fact that I brought a dog from America to Thailand and that we live in a condo.

 

It also blows my mind how everyone is so focused on just the dog, nevermind the fact the guy slapped and threatened to kill people, also. As if all of the vitriol for dogs wasn't enough.

 

Not to mention, we're 99% sure he has cats because the inside dashboard of his car has 4 cat bobbleheads. As if cats are any cleaner.

 

I had a few (exceptionally kind) others reach out by PM and suggest places to look (some I haven't heard of), and connect me with realtors. Thanks to those that came to my defense—I know I am not crazy because we have many tenants in our condo building, of all backgrounds/demographics/nationalities, all of whom own dogs and see our condo as a suitable living environment. Hindsight, yeah—dog forum would've been smarter—but <deleted> it. Didn't expect so much backlash.

 

Do I have it in me to beat the shit out of him? I'd say so. I have no shame in saying that. He threatened my wife while she was alone, walking our dog. No reason to turn to violent threats to a woman simply because she is walking a tiny dog, especially when the condo is, has, and always will be pet-friendly.

My money goes straight to the DOI charity. Been donating for 28 years.  BTW. I love the idea of disinfecting dogs paws after walkies. I thought I'd heard everything but that takes the biscuit!

What is this about?  I have not addressed to post to you in the first place.  

 

I am saying I think all those things you are saying you do are very good!!! Well done... pat on the back.... keep up the good work... so glad you are such a good person to devote you life to helping families in poverty and nonprofit organisations etc... and in such a great capacity.... more then me... you are the winner!!!  (Although I don't think helping people should be seen as a competition or something to boast about myself, personally).  

 

You are clearly not the kind of person I was referring to... you are not out spending all you money and time dumping bags of feed down every day for the street dogs, or hoarding dozens of dogs in your small house or condo.   You also socialise and interact with other human beings and not just surround yourself with a dog family.

I love cats and dogs equally, especially when watching them have it out in this forum!

But it must be said, cats are absolutely cleaner than dogs; that is just not worth debating.

A friend of I had mentals issues, when he wasn't under medication or during crysis he would "flip the switch" and turn agressive, speak nonsense etc, there was some very particular situations in these particular moments which would trigger it.

 

The locals used to be able to call the cops who sent on in psychiatric hospitals a few times to cool him down  when he was becoming too threatening toward other people.

(surprisingly, it actually worked well).

So if you think he's actually mental and threatening, maybe that's what you could try, but at some point he'll be released soooooooo, depending on his craziness level, better not being around at that time if he know you sent him ????

Animals have no ability to plan for the future except in predetermined limited ways. When an animal hibernates it is not planning for a future event as such. It is following a behaviour pattern hardwired, via genetic coding common to all its species and will carry out the action at they same time as all other species members. Over a 1000 years of observations have proved that animals only have a limited communication abilities and have no ability to understand or communicate abstractions. Your comment comparing Thai people to animals is disgraceful and specious. The human race is undoubtedly superior to members of the animal kingdom. An elementary truth that is sometimes overlooked by morally vacuous post modernists who lack basic scientific knowledge and have suffered from modern educational values.
