I have nothing personal against you of course, but there are many decent people living in condos, and it's not fair to call them pigs or other words. Very true...……..and it's not always about the money/cost, as some posters seem to think. There are other things to take into consideration such as location, ambience, neighbours, services, parking, view......... and the list goes on. As an example, after I sold my house here I moved into this 42 square meter apartment (true it does have an additional 15 m² of balcony) as a temporary measure whilst I was going to look around for other accommodation. Well the more I stayed here, the more I liked it because there are only eight apartments in this little block and it is set up a steep driveway in the side of a hill, and the owners live here also and make sure everything is tiptop and shipshape, with very little noise allowed by any occupants. I have somewhere safe to park my bike and my car and I have become good friends with the owners and if anything should happen to me I know full well that they would take me to hospital if necessary, just as I have done when one of them fell ill. But no matter how hard I looked, and occasionally I still look, I really can't go by all of the components which go together to add up a very satisfactory arrangement here.........having said that I would really like a larger kitchen area because I like cooking, but I have installed a little portable barbecue on the balcony which allows me to do my Thai "smelly" cooking. I could easily afford something twice or three times the size, or another townhouse, but this seems to suit and I feel very comfortable here. I really don't think one can judge a person or a person's wealth alone on the type of accommodation they choose to stay in. 4

Lacessit
I really like living here. Sure, there are some crazy things that go on, plus the occasional over-the-top dumb act. I just let those slide on by. Every day is interesting, and there's plenty to do and see. Even if I had enough money to afford to live in my home country Australia, I doubt if I would. Thailand has a lot of positives for me, most of all my treasure of a Thai GF.

Good on the new poster. Thanks for proving my point - a classic example of someone who does nothing but gripe about Thailand (I've seen many of your comments) but can't give a coherent answer devoid of sarcasm or spite. Well done you.

But it’s how you live your life that matters, me and my gf lived there happily, bought a house and moved on but if I was still there I would have no complaints at all. What's that Amata Nakon and City ? Never heard that name. Amata Nakon is a huge factory area in Chonburi with tens of thousands of attractive single women under 35, who have usually come from other provinces for work. Countless thai pubs with good food, live music and pretties constantly topping up your drinks where to meet them, you will do best targeting groups with no males, dont expect first night action, play it cool, get phone numbers, you will get rewarded. Amata City is in Rayong, similar, but not as big. Saturday night is best as most work saturdays. It is like shooting fish in a barrel, but easier.

Anyway, amata Nakon and amata city are the reasons I love Thailand and is why I am here.
