BANGKOK, 8th October 2018 (NNT) - Suthep Thuagsuban, one of the founders of the Action Coalition For Thailand Party, insists that he is not planning to run for office in the next general election.

Suthep traveled to Bang Khen district to meet with 41 community leaders to listen to their problems and explain to them why national reform is needed in order for Thailand to move forward. He will use their opinions to develop his party’s policy.

Suthep said today he joined the Action Coalition For Thailand Party only as an adviser, adding he never wanted to be on the board or a party leader. He added that even if his party wins the next general election, he will remain as an adviser.

Regarding the Election Commission of Thailand’s demand for the party to comply with party requirements, Suthep said he has already made certain changes to ensure that his party meets those criteria.

which means he will do after "receiving so many requests from his supporters"

Well no, he won't contest it - preventing it is rather more his style.

Note how he is going around explaining how national reform is needed. That sounds familiar now doesn't it?

Let's wait and see what will happen if a party he dislikes looks like winning...

Ahh, he that dwells in and hails from the sewer pipes up. Never has a bigger liar gone so unpunished for so long and doth also win the award for the most punchable face in Thailand. That smile is just spine chillingly shallow and smarmy.

And he promised to stay out of politics.  Does his "reform" include an impeachment process or just occupying large parts of Bangkok.  The man is not a good roll model if Thailand ever hopes to catch up to Vietnam or Malaysia.  He will hold the country back.

Ive held on to a theory that his payment for setting the conditions for a coup is the PMs position. He'll look at the sky, his eyes will well up and he ll state that he had withdrawn from politics but the "great mass of people" have spoken and requested him to return as PM and it is for the people that he will go back on his word.

I ll spew if it happens! insiduous, hypocritical b*****d that he is.

If there were any ethical worthiness to this theatre, he would've remained in jail.

Apparently he got the message that the election results have already been determined and he has decided to do damage from the sidelines.

He receives a check every time he's referenced, promoted or mentioned in any fashion.

Smart guy. There are much more advantages in being appointed than in being elected.

Yeah.

At least one knows whose butt to kiss.
