central festival banh mi

Featured Replies

I remember reading in another posting that there is a banh mi vendor/ restaurant in Central Festival in Pattaya. Can anyone tell me where they are? I have never seen them.

When it first opened there was a Vietnamese restaurant in Central Festival but as it wasn't any good I've never been back so don't know if it still exists.

Never seen it here but buy a bread roll and make your own or modify a subway roll at home

There is a new Vietnamese banh mi shop that opened a few months ago , very popular among expats , and very cheap .

It's located on the other side of Sukhumvit , but only 200 meters from main road , in soi  Kao Talo , not far from Big C South Pattaya.

Yes, that place is the place to go. Very authentic. The guy bakes his own bread every morning.

Just about every proper bakery does these, though styles and quality vary. All the big supermarkets do them also.

I like the ones in BigC on Klang: their head baker is French. The ones in Tops in Central are also very good but quite expensive.

Left or right side of Khao Talo when heading from Sukhumvit?
