Another Fatal Road Accident At Garn Keha Condominium.

On the 11th of February at 2.40am Police were called to a road accident again in front of Garn Keha Condominium on Thepprasit Road.

Police rushed to the scene along with Rescue Volunteers to find a damaged Izusu

D-Max pickup with the shaken driver, Chonlavit Suwanpragorn, aged 43, standing beside the truck. Not far away Police discovered the mangled body of the motorbike rider named Manop Krutwang, aged 29, on the road.

His body was sent to Banglamung hospital for autopsy.

Khun Chonlavit, stated to Police that he was driving home from Jomtien Beach towards Sukhumvit Road and the motorbike was riding along Thepprasit Road towards Jomtien.

He stated that in his opinion the bike rider may have been intoxicated and swerved onto his side of the road and this created the head on smash, killing the rider immediately and none of which was his fault.

However, a passing witness told police that the pickup truck had actually just left the condo car park, thus contradicting Chonlavit’s statement

The witness further mentioned the truck did not even have its lights on. He came rushing out into the road from the condo and straight into the path of the unfortunate Khun Manop, ending his life within a second.
