Train Station ?

A very simple question, I have searched on line but can find no mention of a railway station in Krabi, does the SRT pass through krabi or not ? I'm asking for a friend, if so can anyone tell me how long from BKK and frequency, I have checked the SRT site and can only find a place called Krabiat. any help would be appreciated TIA.

No rail station in Krabi.

Thanks for the info KhunBENQ, I did do a search but only being able to search one word not a couple IE Krabi Railway, limits responses so thanks for your help, I reckon they will just fly down and back from BKK.

There is no station in Krabi. Going to Bangkok, the closest railway station is Na San near Surat Thani. Bus fare to the station and a sleeper train ticket will set you back B1000. You can can a flight for less at the moment.
