Just announced on the 26th that the US is following the Brits effective January 1, 2019 in ceasing to issue income affidavits for retires to verify income annually for their retirement visa's.

Can't you just deposit 800k baht into a bank account to satisfy the financial requirements for a Non-Immigrant O-A Visa?

As others have noted this subject has and is being discussed in excruciating detail in another thread. As an American (and like the Brits), we've felt like we were just screwed and hope to avoid putting 800k in a third world bank with a government controlled by a military junta.
