Pakistani rip off merchants ripped off merchants

 

 

Police in the north of Thailand announced the arrest of two Pakistani men for conning shopkeepers and stealing both money and goods.

 

Muhammad Shabaz, 21, Muhammad Noor, 28, had entered Thailand as tourists on 16th October. 

 

After that they rented a car in Chonburi and went on a thieving spree. 

 

They were finally nabbed at a checkpoint in Mae Hong Sorn after stealing from two shops in the area.

 

They would take advantage of busy periods in shops and claim they had already paid for items and even get change from money they had not handed over. 

 

Their methods were only discovered when CCTV was checked after. The police were informed and the hunt was ultimately successful as the Muhammads were caught. 

 

Taken into evidence was a lot of shopping such as shampoo, sodas, shoes, pants and creams. 

 

They were charged with theft and deception, taken on a reenactment to the two shops and detained. 

 

Police suspect other merchants have fallen victim and asked for people to come forward.

They only can do that if they plead guilty ,,,If they Not guilty they don't/can't reenact,,, makes cense ?

Sorry but  re-enactments by the real culprits make no sense!

If they have plead guilty then why the need to re-enact, the BIB have a closed case, so case closed and go in front of the Judge, NOT the TV cameras and get sentenced.

 

It should not be a TV reality show. 

 

Proper re-enactment should only happen on a "crime show" where actors re-enact the crime to stir peoples memories to assist in solving the crime and call in with their info.

 

This is purely a PR stunt by the BIB to catch up with the "big joke" and get themselves noticed!!
