Meeting planned on WTO ruling on cigarette imports

Thai Customs officials plan to hold a meeting next week on the ruling issued by a World Trade Organisation [WTO] against the country’s regulations on cigarette imports, a spokesperson of Customs Department told The Nation on Saturday.

Mr Thanee Chougcho, Director of Phuket International Airport, revealed that during the Loy Kratong festival of every year, we can see many of the Kom Loy (lantern), Kom Kwan (balloon) and fireworks from hotels or local celebrations surrounding the airport. This creates a high risk of serious accident to in-flight aircraft.

BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - The Argentine Navy submarine that went missing a year ago off the country's Atlantic Coast was found by a private company involved in what had been a massive search for the vessel and its 44-member crew, the Navy announced by tweet on Saturday.
