I have never seen a petition go so fast and it is sleepy time in the UK. You can follow this link and watch it update in real time.  Now at 415k - let's make it the biggest petition in British history.

A couple of have things have come into my thinking today. One important and the other perhaps not so.

Firstly; the Eurovision song contest! Will we still be able to participate when we leave the EU?

Secondly; would it be worth the Brexiteers promoting our thoughts through a mass rally. I am thinking Pattaya sometime next week (after the Thai elections). Would there be much enthusiasm, among TVForum members, for a rally on the beach perhaps, or Bali-hi pier?

Yes Israel are in for Jehova's sake ! Good luck with your mass rally - a table full of old codgers would probably be about it. Why not start a Brexit Now petition to rival our Remoaning one - 418k !

We Belgians know we have nothing to say and mostly ignored by the "Important" ones.

I suppose this is what the Leave voters rescent as well now : not important enough to get awareness, despite they expressed their choice.

Democracy in the UK has certainly evolved.

It has become worthless while there is a lobbyist system

in place.

It's the May deal I can't stand.

Final say on the deal sounds good, and I'm reconciled to idea of leaving without a deal. I don't want an extension.  This has gone on long enough.  It will be interesting to see if this march can pull in a million plus.

Exactly. One obvious example is David Cameron's public undertaking to make the Brexit referendum, unlike its "advisory" predecessors, binding on Parliament to implement (a pledge, to her credit, echoed incessantly during the Brexit negotiations by Theresa May).

What a relief to discover at last some common ground with a Remainer!

Will there be beer, pork pies and girls there?

Over a million would be very significant in my book.

Generally, I would say a final say campaign has run out of time.

We are leaving on the May Deal or No deal.  But there will be hell to pay because the majority no longer want to leave.  Everything about Brexit has gone wrong imo.

I say, <deleted>, let's just leave on the so called No Deal- everyone has had long enough to effect an alternative outcome.

It will be a million in the next few hours - on the way to being the biggest petition in UK petition history. Make sure all Remoaners have it posted, emailed and signed wherever they can.

I agree, but it seems a too little, too late. I'm sure you've seen these petitions being brought up in a little back room in parliament, they appear just to be going through the motions. Thanks to the internet over 36,000 were discussed in the first year of the introduction of the epetition, many are rejected being unworthy of discussion.

Parliament will do what they want to do, not what we want them to do, as it has been proven. If we leave the EU, it will be probably due to luck and mismanagement.

I see your point but it is about respecting democracy. forget lies, advisory, old people, education, and all the other bull. its the fact that democracy isn't being upheld and blatantly thwarted by idiots who feel they know best.

Yes I agree with you but anyone with any intelligence can sign up. I imagine we all have a few e mail accounts. So this number means didly squat.

We use proportional representation in Belgium, which mean a coalition government.

If the people voted 49.99% for one party, but all the other parties decide to form a coalition, the party with 49,99% will be in the opposition.

Democracy : 50,01 is higher than 49,99.

As someone who actually lives in Lincolnshire, I can tell you, they do not need to march through this county in order to gather support,as the vast majority of it’s people are 100% behind the leave campaign.

I don’t know of any Slovaks, but you would be surprised at the number of Poles who also support Brexit.

Anybody want to give it a try - I imagine it uses some sort of lookup with your name and postcode to do some validation MAYBE WITH THE ELECTORAL ROLL. The page is getting pretty slow now as the UK wakes up and the Russian troll farms - good friends of Brexit no doubt attempt DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKS.
