It’s best to compare situations from the past that were normal to see if they fit in with today’s standards. Therefore, many vintage ads haven’t withstood the test of time. They often project chauvinistic ideas that would bring controversy today.

In Afghanistan  where the custom is that women walk a couple of steps behind the man, , while walking trough  a field, and American man noticed  a bunch of man and women crossing the field and  and was surprised that the women were leading the man.

Hey its nice  to see that that man in this country are finally treating women right and letting women lead. He said to them . 

Sure , sure they responded, and about time with all these minefields around.
