It also depends on what form the rice is in. Brown ( unpolished ) rice is much higher in fibre, vitamins, and minerals. Fibre assists in attaining a full feeling faster than white rice. -

Yes, people like that most likely won’t be overweight. And it’s much less likely that the old villagers who’ve been eating that same way for decades won’t be getting too overweight either. The figures also don’t show that everybody in the country is obese. 50% are not. So those you mention fall into that other 50% who aren’t overweight. You need to go into any of the densely populated city centers in Thailand and look around. It’s pretty starkly obvious. Khon Kaen, Korat, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, etc, it’s unmistakable. -

For data (only) I use AIS, they have a "5G max unlimited" SIM for around 1,200 baht per month; it of course also works with 3G and 4G... -

Versus the corruption of the ~10K Baht extra needed for the "sign off" guy at the district-office? Though, that price seems to have gone up, per some reports of agent-assisted marriage-extensions. The whole system top-to-bottom is based on corruption. This is evidenced by every change made to "stop corruption" only resulting in an increase in the collection of corruption-money. -

She wasa driving with one hand and aparently not looking at the traffic on that moment. She went straigth to the truck instead following her path. Maybe distracted by her phone.
