Do I need to transfer valid visa from old passport to new one?
When you obtain a new op (pp renewal) your old pp is cancelled however any valid visa, permission of stay, reentry permit etc remain valid. Which pp country. What is current turn around time for pp renewal. Check if country you are traveling to has restrictions on entry related to pp validity. Which immigration office. No. The departure date means nothing. The validity of the reentry permit has expiry same as current permission of stay. Note: when you eventually do the transfer... The visa (non O) is not transfered. Reference notes are made on first page of new pp. Some stamps are transferred -

Are you saying that when you go to renew your annual visa they won't put it in your new passport, but rather they'll put it in your expired passport? That doesn't make much sense. -

Does EMS signed for with Thailand Post also track within the destination country?
Just rang them again, and now they are saying it hasn't reached UK! They requested that we email them the slip we received from them.
