This is a strange thread. The answer is case by case and according to the items purchased etc. In some cases hard to answer because husband bf and the wife gf pool a certain amount / all of their take home income and payment for meals comes from that pool. -

That fell apart. What's more, it was referencing when illegal immigration was at its height. And that figure of 100 million comes from where? There are at least 10 million undocumented aliens in the US. Are you seriouly claiming that on average each one pays on average only $10 per year in sales taxes alone? -

I can prove that the average wage in Thailand is 15k Baht per month which is below the filing threshold and well below the level at which tax is due. 30k Personal Allowance and 150k zero rated, that takes care of a whole bunch of non-filers.. -
