3 minus 2 Posted February 16, 2020 Share Posted February 16, 2020 yep celso when he came on was good... cant for the life of me understand why anyone else takes ANY set pieces when he's on, his deliveries are consistently top draw. as you say lots of positives 2 day.. even Sanchez didnt screw up...aurier is still a concern.. lets hope a run of games at southampton pushes Walker Peter's on... and when kane comes bac.. we WILL be a force that will be reckoned with.. dont think many will fancy playing us. 3 minus 2 Posted February 19, 2020 Share Posted February 19, 2020 half time and we're 1 nil down to the Bundesliga away specialists.. well it could have been a lot worse..no doubts they are a class act had they been aliittle more clinical in front of goal they would have been out of sight...seemingly Sanchez has erased the errors in his distribution, 2 games in a row he hasn't majorly f... xed up... and looks like he's emerging as a extremely good cb. and at an age where the best is still to come.. toby.. well he's still decent but HAS lost a yard and given a little more game time I'm sure Davies wouldnt have given that pen away.. it smacked of being in the wrong body shape...and struggled to readjust .. sort of thing that happens after a longish lay off still he works as 3 well enuf.. could never understand why poch never used him for that .. Wales do & he's decent enuf at it .all we need now is a decent left wing bac... step up sessignon...... le celso .. is top draw and NO DOUBTS e he will add nd product to his gamen , and thankfully he's taking all set plays.. aurier is just... well ... he ain't that bright, his focus need SERIOUS attention.. and we just cant hold the ball up upfront...Barca signed an emergency striker... perhaps we can.. Class act he is going to be. he already is mate,, penny seems to be dropping with his team mates as well.. up until yesterday son lamela ect ect thought they were further up the pecking order with free kicks... I'de hazard a quess that int the case anymore ,, be interesting to see wot happens when kane and son come bac..i'de say by then he'll be top boy and arguably first on the team sheet... only reservation is we DEFO need some muscle/ brawn.. in that dept, we atm are a touch light weight.. From what I saw yesterday, when you were 2nd best all around the park and created nothing, I can't see you getting in to the CL. Start by axing your centre backs, who are too old and slow (Vertoghen is shocking these days - looks an effort for him to run), if you want a chance of getting in to the Europa League.
