Recommended Honda Wave upgrades

Featured Replies

According to the Honda AP website the "all new" Wave 125i has an LED headlight so you might want to see how that works.

  • That's a new one on me for describing buying a 125cc step through scooter/moped.... with optional basket on the front......... Understand if the purchase was a 600k Ducati, 500k Triumph etc....

  • Ah, you again. Don't you think this may have something to do with you, your attitude, your character traits, and/or lack of language skills? "Oi you, Honda Grease Monkey - fix my tyre! Now!"

  • If you wear a dress - perfect !

Thanks, everyone!

These are all super helpful suggestions. Sounds like the Wave isn't going to need a whole lot to keep going.

I'm going to keep the LED headlight in mind (for the 2018 model) and consider upgrading the rear suspension, but other than that....I may just keep it stock. Thanks again!

Get one of those mesh seat covers

stapled on.

Unless you prefer sweaty balls.

Some very funny replies here but admitted those Waves are extremely strong, I had 3 of them over the years, or was it 4? Hmm, never mind but they always worked. Kick start if the battery is flat, nice.

Okay uses a pcx150 now and that thing has been working flawlessly for over 5 years now, still on the original belt, 20k km later, not bad.

Forgot to add, no bling on my scooters, no attempts to make them faster (have a big bike for going fast), I only add stuff that I find useful, top box, net on the seat and so on, I don't give a rats ass how it looks.
