CHIANG MAI, 14 December 2018 (NNT) - The Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) has continued to implement the one-million-unit, low-cost housing project.

Phongsakorn Tulanon, the manager of Chiang Mai GH Bank District Office, disclosed that the GH Bank has approved a 60-billion-baht loan allotment for the one-million-unit low-cost housing project to comply with the government's policy to encourage low-income earners, the elderly and first-time workers to own homes.

The affordable price is no more than one million baht per unit and a payment of about 3,000 baht per month with a mortgage term as long as 40 years

He said the GH Bank has been prepared to provide service to people who will apply for a loan under the project on December 23, 2018, from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. nationwide. For more information, please call 0-2645-9000.

A great idea for the poor but my concern is the maintenance of the properties. The Thais I know do very little to maintain their houses. Hopefully it will work.

Then is will be a slum like most places where Thai like to live ❤️
