Featured Replies

Always plenty of talk on Thailand, the issue here is always going to be setting a firm pan (not just guidelines that will be forgotten tomorrow) and then executing the plan.

Simple as that.

  • They need to start in the schools. Education is the start.

  • Next time try going to the root of the problem which is ignorance, and, as I tried to indicate in my previous post, starts at school. People in some countries will run after you if you throw rubbish o

Why would they need to start in schools to make more incinerators?

I think he meant that people needed to be educated to not create so much rubbish in the first place and now that the problem exists the workforce and government is not smart enough and too lazy to deal with the problem.

No proper garbage here !! Land near us cleared of garbage/dumping and fenced off - NOW dumping continues just next to this !!   Until Thailand ( and especially Pattaya ) gets a grip on this , the situation will get worse .   Need to look at UK/France/Europe system of garbage disposal with defined garbage/re-cycling depots PLUS proper bins for separating household waste AND implement the system with BIG fines for those who do not comply ( ie wrongly filled bins/not in plastic bags etc - not collect and impose fines /  littering and dumping - more surveillance and instant fines .    Only fines will help Thailand as people get the message when it hurts their pockets !!!

All they do is talk and to pretend that they are smart, They have the landfills and incinerators but by lack of knowledge and a massive amount of ignorance they can't make it work /fix it /keep it going. They just have the Wrong people for those jobs/to oversee the jobs.

Four steps?

 1. Get rid of army

 2. Get rid of BiB

 3. Get rid of somchais

 4. Colonize the country

All garbage gone, et voilá!
