Have just been to Khon kaen immigration near the university, they have a big sign up, the office is closing on January 31st and moving to a new office on the second floor at bus station terminal 3

I visited the site recently.

Building 2, actually above one of the bus terminals.

Another government office seems to have moved out recently.

Plenty of space, clean incl. proper rest rooms (compared to the current cesspit).
