Surin kicks off agricultural knowledge center

An 8-Rai agricultural center has been set up in Surin (สุรินทร์) Province, to be used as the agricultural knowledge center for local farmers.

Mr. Narin Duangcheun (นรินทร์ ดวงชื่น), a farmer from Buached (บัวเชด) District in Surin Province, said that the 8-Rai agricultural center will be developed as the provincial agricultural knowledge center for farmers. He said that farmers will study on how to plant vegetable without the use of chemical. In addition, farmers will have a chance to exchange their agricultural knowledge at the center.

The center will encourage local farmers to improve their agricultural products’ standard, adding that lecturers will be invited to provide more knowledge to them.
