Video: Pattaya pulling out all the stops for "huge number of tourists" this Christmas

Pattaya News reported that City Hall and businesses had bedecked the resort in Christmas lights from top to bottom as a huge number of tourists were expected to celebrate Christmas in Pattaya.

Lights, Santa Clauses, reindeer - you name it - from Beach Road to Sukhumvit the resort was pulling out all the stops this festive season.

Their video even showed a few bar girls in Walking Street though they were reluctant to be filmed in their skimpy Santa outfits.

Pattaya News said that the city was decked out in 100,000 lights ahead of Christmas Day Tuesday - a foreign holiday that would be celebrated both by foreigners and Thais in Pattaya.

Christmas in Pattaya is great.  You don't have to buy presents for the Western relatives, argue with the wife about a tree and risk your life putting up lights in a blizzard.  But i think I speak for

And to insure that none of those tourists will suffer a mishap or a loss, pull out all those rogue elements from the streets, the likes of thugs, ladyboys cheaters and scammers Pattaya is so famous for and peace will be upon all...

I was thinking more of peace and good will to all men and Lady boys , they like xmas too yer know.    Apparently .  So I have been told , possibly.

The Pope and the Anglican Archbishops will be thrilled to know how Pattaya is promoting Christianity. With a tinsel Christmas trees adored with the Star of David plus revelry in Walking Street with Santa bar girls and perhaps a punch-up or two.

"O come all ye faithful......"

I spotted a foreign couple on beach road today, the rest were Chinese.

Happy Xmas sex tourists!
Beats Mrs palmer and her 5 daughters.. Enjoy [emoji23]

"Huge Number of Tourists"

I have heard that there is a remote tribe in South America whose numbering system goes

One

Two

Many

Perhaps TAT has been studying their system (for years) ......

Ho, ho, hoe...oh, wait that's a different Christmas story!

I tried Bangkok.  Three times I needed a taxi; three times using the meter was rejected.  Worse two of these were parked outside So Sofitel Hotel.  Another was called by the Royal President Hotel.  If hoteliers can't protect their customers they won't get my custom again.

First rule of taxis in bkk is never get a taxi in front of a hotel, shopping mall or major tourist attraction as these are all mafia controlled taxi stands and will ripoff all tourists and some thais as well. Walk 100 metres and grab a taxi and you will generally have better luck.

The lights at "A one The royal Cruise Hotel"  at the northern end of beach road take top prize IMHO.

The upside down Tree at Royal Garden  well  LOL
