Can you apply for a 30 day extension on the last day of your previous entry?

I realise it's silly to leave an extension application to the last day but I screwed up with my dates.

 

I'm on a tourist MEV. I could do a border tomorrow but would prefer not to.

Yes, you can apply on the last day.

No problem to do it on the last day if you want to or need to.

Yes. On or before the 'admitted until' date stamped in your passport.

 

They will normally do it if a few days late too, as long as you pay any overstay fine.
