Working in Thailand, mileage rate for businsss expenses

Recommended Posts

Last time I claimed for business milesage expenses was in the UK in about 2007 / 2008. Back then it was about 32p per mile. I can’t remember the price per litre.

Any idea what an average mileage rate for business expenses is now in Thailand ?

I've never heard of anybody getting paid per kilometer when using the private car in Thailand, so probably just not common in Thailand which makes it difficult to find an average for it.

If your employer pays you for this i would simply calculate what's fair in your opinion, based on the cost for the car and the used gas. Something arround 7 THB per kilometer would probably be fair if you drive a "normal" car for about 1 million THB.
