So it looks like a consensus, the Chinese military is untested in real combat situations. Logically, they need a little war to win. Like Russia did in Syria. But I doubt that China would be welcomed anywhere in the area.

They fought the Mao communists before. Thailand isn’t under a threat now, why bother to take sides now.
