Hello

i come here for 3 months twice a year. I say at our house in Udon Thani.

I put that address on the arrival card.

My question is do I need to inform the local immigration office where I’m staying. One of my wife’s friends is saying that I should.

Many info would be appreciated.

Cheers

You only need to report every 90 days, and there is a 7 day grace period for reporting late. So, if less than 97 days, no need to report. Your wife should report that you are staying in her house (only once, as soon as possible after your arrival).

Most immigration offices require you to report within 24 hours. Most immigration offices impose a fine if you don’t approx 2,000THB.

90 reporting is a different matter.

You mix that up.

The poster says he comes for 3 months a time. Likely on a Non O visa.

So never stays more than 90 days.

I am not "mixed up". I posted what I did because some people use terms such as "3 months" rather loosely, covering anything from 2.5 - 3.5 months.

if you are here for 3 months and have no need to go to local immigration for an extension, or a residency letter then don't bother with the tm30.

It depends on which three months.
