Does anyone here farm/harvest coconuts at a commercial scale or have knowledge of any Cooperatives?

 

I am interested in the various markets for coconut byproducts such as oil extraction and husks.

Down around Rayong you can find huge stockpiles of coconuts. I think you will find more mafia type organisations than cooperatives.

Are these young green coconuts or old brown? Has the husk been broken and water removed?

 

Large stockpiled of “used” cononuts could be retained for Coir, which is a time consuming process.

I am new with some of this lingo but I am familiar with taxi mafias, not so much with manufacturing or agriculture.

Maybe this will be of interest for new applications for coconut biomass...

I do not have a thorough understanding of the Biochar process but you have given me incentive to study it further.
