I think the key words are 'sold at extortionate rates'

Also, 'taken to Pattaya Police station and then sold at a more resonable rates'

That should teach 'em.....No, really, that should teach them.

Most of the Louis Vuitton counterfeit bags are made so fast that the stitching is never straight..........easy to spot.............713 pieces of counterfeit is only a fraction of what is sold every minute on ebay..

Thailand - Hub of Copies!!! :D I'm shocked by this news. :o

Most of them come over from China, the cusoms and excise make a killing in the port letting them in!!!!!

Only 713 items, they can't have looked very hard.

Many fake women along Beach Road too. :o

easy to spot....

Stitched together so fast the seams aren't straight :D

Now come on lads, these tourists have spent a lot of money coming to Thailand in order to purchase cheap knock off goods to take back home and sell down the pub for a healthy profit. Paying over the odds is upsetting the delicate economic balance of trade and affecting their bottom line.

But that's an incredible haul for Beach and Second roads, 713 goods and 6 vendors. The ever vigilant BiB must be congratulated for their efforts to make Pattaya a "quality" tourist destination. :o

I remember watching anoither dodgy goods crackdown on the local TV about a year ago.

The chief BIB was standing in Mikes Shopping Mall standing in front of a huge pile of gear looking really cool.........in his fake Burberry jacket.

only in Thailand :o
