Private hospital in Pattaya vs Sri Racha

Featured Replies

I recently went for check ups at http://www.phyathai-sriracha.com/pytsweb/  in Sri Racha which is not far from Pattaya. I was impressed with the service and they diagnosed a health problem that I was unaware of. At the time I was there, I spoke to another farang who said they just diagnosed him with kidney stone and enlarged prostate. He agreed that the prices at phyathai were substantially better than bkk pattaya hospital.

Prior to seeing them I compared package prices with bangkok hospital pattaya which was very expensive by comparison.

Also, they are having a new generation CT X-ray machine installed in march / april. The new tech means lower radiation. The equivalent machine in bkk hospital pattaya was installed in 2011 and thus old tech at a much higher price.

If you are after a better deal and have your own transport its worth the drive to Sri Racha IMHO

cheers

I usually go to Phyathai for anything non-urgent, including the yearly check mentioned and also for dental treatment. I might not go there if it was something urgent, simply due to the extra travelling time from Jomtien.
