I would like to know if anyone has used the Varilux X series progressive lenses.  I have a friend who really likes them. They use a new technology where as I understand it, there are many honeycombed like spots on the lenses for each distance type so you don't have to look through a certain area of the glasses to see correctly.  I am still researching to see if this type of lense is suitable for me.

First question, If you have or had them what did you think about them.

Second question, I know I can get them in Chiang Mai, is anyone aware of any opticians in Bangkok area or south of Bangkok they are available.  I live in Hua Hin and would love to find a closer source than Chiang Mai if I can (I already checked with Dr. Pairat and he is unaware of these lenses).  I have to go to Rutnin Hospital in Bangkok in 3 weeks to get my eyes checked again (had cornea transplant there in 2016) and also have them tested for new glasses.

Thanks for any responses.
