Fake Gun Found on Suspect

On the 24th of February at 11.00pm, Pattaya Police was informed about three suspicious Thai men riding on two motorbikes along a Soi behind Big C Super Center.

Descriptions of the three men were sent out to the Police network.

A short time later they were spotted on Pattaya Beach Road and eventually they were apprehended near Pattaya Police Station.

They were identified as:

Sangtawan Prasertsri, aged 22

Sakorn Kamma, aged 25

Chaiyanan Prasertsri, aged 23

Police found a fake gun in the possession of Sangtawan.

Police also seized their motorbikes to check their serial numbers and legitimate owners.

They confessed to the Police they were on a night out in Pattaya from the Takientia area.

All of them have been charged with carrying a gun in public.

Two soldiers from Sattahip caught with a fake plastic gun outside the Police Station on Pattaya Beach.

A group of Pattaya Police Officers assisted by Pattaya Police Volunteers stopped two men over the weekend that were seen acting suspiciously in front of the Soi 9 Police station on Pattaya Beach Road.

Both men are soldiers based at the Sattahip Base and were found to be in possession of a fake plastic gun. Private Saingdawan aged 22 and Private Sakorn aged 24 were arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station.

They were later sent back to their base where they will undoubtedly be disciplined by their army superiors.
